Do You Sell Fresh Kava Roots?

Tali asked: Do you sell just the whole, fresh kava root? I would like to make fresh root and freeze it to drink later. Mahalo.

Makaria says: We do not offer fresh kava root, sorry, only the dried root. It does not keep well as a fresh root, making shipping safely virtually impossible. The powdered root we offer has a shelf life of 2 years, so you should be just fine by using that without having to worry about freezing it to keep it fresh. We know that there is absolutely no comparison to drinks made with freshly-squeezed kava root, direct from Mother Nature, but, it’s not feasible to offer this to our customers, unfortunately.
